Lead Wool, a form of caulking lead, consists of long, fine strands of chemical-grade lead twisted into 5/8” rope for use in various applications.
Our cold packing is available in 5 lb bags, 50 lb cartons of ten 5 lb bags, or 50 lb bags. To be clear: 2-½ ft of the material weighs about one pound.
Mayco’s lead wool is certified to meet Federal Specification QQ-C-40.
