Mayco Industries, Inc. lead lined gypsum board is furnished in 5/8” and 3/4” fire code (Type X-Ray Shielded Gypsum) gypsum board meeting classification ASTM C 1396 with pure lead sheet meeting federal specification QQ-L-201 F or ASTM B 749-03 for Lead and Lead Alloy Sheet, Strip and Plate products – see NCRP Reports #33, #39, #45, #147 and #151.
The lead lined gypsum board (Type X-Ray Shielded Gypsum) is Underwriters Laboratories® Classified for Fire Resistance (see U.L. Fire Resistance Directory) as tested by UL in accordance with the standard fire tests of building construction and materials per ANSI/UL 263.
The lead lined drywall is manufactured to make a complete component system.
